This is a picture of Little Bob the Smallmouth Bass. I brought him home, along with two
other fish, from our pond in an aerated cooler. I found out that they are too territorial in
this small space to keep more than one fish. The dominant fish just ends up tormenting
the others because they have no place to go. I released the other two and kept just
Little Bob. He (maybe she) gets his name from a certain fish in our pond, Dan named
"Bob." Very aggressive and territorial. He definitely has a standout personality. Well,
this fish reminds me of Bob, except littler. So I call him, Little Bob. When catching
him, I was actually trying to catch the smallest fish in the pond, to better fit the aquarium.
Little Bob is about ten inches long here.
