Protecting our new roof structure from sun and weather was our next
step. One
thing about an A-frame is there's an aweful lot of roof to cover.
The roof is also tall
with a steep slope. To manage this we used a two ladder scaffold
system. The above
picture shows Dan putting up the tar paper that goes under the shingles.
This part of
the construction seemed to take forever. Fortunately, when it
was shingled we had
about 3/4 of exterior of the cabin finished. When I say cabin,
I use the work loosely.
It really looked more like a covered bridge at this point.
